Going to be in the Detroit area for Xmas, do people brave the cold and climb this place in the winter or is the only option plastic pulling?

Winter climbing can be great. The bouldering is better as it saves the hands. If you can get 30 degrees w/ the sun, the sun is the key, then the south facing wall will get the rays and it can be a good day. it will be dry, and 1200-100 is the best time to head on out. The sun is the key.

Great thanks. Hopefully this winter storm you guys have right now will lighten up a bit. Don't suppose anyone wants a partner? Sometime between Xmas and New Years?
