Hello,
My name is Kelsey. My boyfriend and I are looking to try out this whole rock climbing thing. we have always wanted to get into it but never knew where to start or knew anyone that did it. if anyone would be willing to let us join you sometime to watch and learn and maybe even try it we would greatly appreciate it. Smiley

we just moved to grand ledge (i've lived here off and on my whole life) and we really want to get into this over the summer. we are 24/25 and very laid back/down to earth.

If anyone would be interested in "showing us the ropes" (pun intended) Tongue please let us know. Thanks

So typically how it works is that you get your own shoes/chalk/harness and just go down there and watch.  Ask questions when folks arent climbing and try to catch people setting up the ropes so you can see what they are doing.  This way will teach the GL ethic and meet people while learning.  It is difficult w/o shoes and your own harness though.  People will let you use their ropes so just be a little forward and ask.  Always lots of people on the weekends and after work during the week.  Just remember we always carpet the rock and use 2 anchors...no steel/metal brushes and take care of your dog irregardless of what others dog is doing.  Hope this helps.
